Before we begin...THANKS to everyone who helped support NASHVILLE ROCK: STRIPPED 2.0 at

This weeks addition to THE MELTING POT describes his music as QCRR....Quality Controlled Rock-N-

Roll. It's like a fine plate of BBQ, he bares down on the meat and goes easy on the potato salad.

 

His name is Nathan Meckel and he writes music that his mom really likes but he's also written around

30 songs that have been recorded & released by different artists. He's been twice nominated for male

artist of the year by the fine folks with the Starvy awards in Nashville, TN. and toured in Europe, the U.S.

& Canada and last summer played a private party for the ambassador to Honduras at his residence in

Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

 

Meckel plays guitar with a healthy dose of angst and writes songs from the heart. He was born with a

pre-disposed condition for rebellion and is usually half cocked on a harmless amount of piss and

vinegar. So far he's found nothing more suited for him than swaggering his smart ass onto a stage to

amplify the sarcasm and the grit that only rock-n-roll has. He did not invent it or claim to be the best at it

(though he could in fact be its savior), He's just trying to garner a moment where he can stand on her

shoulders and take a look at the view.

 

He admits that he talks too much so there probably isn't much he has left for the imagination to ponder.
