Ok, when Jerry asked me to write a column for nashvillerock.net I thought;' Hey, no problem', and then I started thinking about what the hell to write. I don't have much interest in reviewing CDs. All Ican ever really say about them is yeah I like it or no it's not what I like to hear.

My last installment I mentioned that I had formed an original act, WindowPehn. This band lasted many years in and around the Dayton Ohio area. We played every place a band could in that region.

Ok, I waited for my limo that night until about 9:30 and decided to head on out in the wife’s mini van. I get lots of suggestions as to which gigs I should attend and review. Well, the name Deadsun had been suggested more than once to me and I had seen ‘em years ago at an all day event down at the Muse.

My friends and family have repeatedly told me,” You should write a book about the things you have seen and done”. I have considered it, but I will skip over a few chapters to get to this.

Well, it was a Sunday night and my bands drummer, Johnny, invited me to go out to see the Yayhoos. They used to be called the Yahoos but there was a problem between them and the drink manufacturer so they added a “Y” and there ya go, The Yayhoos.
