@ 12^th & Porter

"If you found yourself standing in a puddle of your own sweat last Monday night, chances are you were rockin’ out to Ligion at 12^th & Porter.  Still on tour with Soil, the boys made a brief stop in their hometown to show their tour mates Nashville really does know how to rock out.

Playing a longer set then we have grown accustomed to in the past few months, the boys played many songs off the new album External Affairs including a couple of my personal favorites, Pins and Needles and Weak.  It’s hard however to put a finger on the crowd’s favorite as everyone is always singing along.  As usual Full Circle was more of a campfire sing-along rather than Ligion singing it himself, ditto that for Reality.  The only unfortunate thing I can find in their shows of late is the omission of Arrows, Insomniacs Dream and Face Yourself.  Maybe another time!

Overall, while it felt like a sauna in the room, I think everyone will agree it was great to see the guys again!"
