Bren Alesch / Angelwing's Photography
Bren's photography career began when her musician friends asked her to shoot their shows. Bren found that she loved capturing the moments of raw energy and passion the artists expressed during their performances and the challenges this type of photography presented. After hundreds of shows honing her skills, Bren became recognized as the photographer with wings tattooed on her back. It seemed only natural that she open up Angelwing Photography. Most of Bren's clients are friends....or have become friends. Through this close association she captures the individual essence of each performer.

| Paul Brittain/Under The Covers: Paul was born in Birmingham and raised in Atlanta. He learned every Ace Frehley lick up through "Creatures of the Night"His band got a deal and he moved to Nashville. They made 3 albums did some tours and broke up.He joined another band with a deal and then they broke up too.He started freelancing (notably with Jay DeMarcus and Gary Levox of Rascall Flatts as well as singer Michael English) until he could decide if he wanted to be in another band. When the smoke cleared he decided he was tired of singers leaving the bands and the bands breaking up.So he became the singer and in doing so became J.PAUL. He listens to mostly talk radio but occasionally flips from The Buzz to Lightning to Jack and back to The Buzz again. He doesn't particularly like Nashville but he loves the bands and the music that we have here.Though his band for J.PAUL music is in Atlanta, he can still be seen around town playing acoustic solo sets, performing with Kung Pow, and making appearances as "Pope J.Paul Jones" with The Jones at JonesWorld. The 2000 J.PAUL release , "unspeakable", can be found at Tower Records (Opry Mills), Digital Planet, and his website at www.jpaulmusic.com |

I mostly listen to local stuff. I go see locals in town about once a week. Other than that, I love metal and I'm big on classic rock. Heather has been apart of our local scene for several years. The community loves her adventures to find out just what the hell happened during a show or some kind of event. You will love reading her article!

Jill Garett / Indie Bratt
I am mostly a listener, unless you catch me in hyperactive mode during which I rant and rave about random crap. I am sometimes TOO honest and sometimes TOO quiet. I am moody. Zodiac books always say the Capricorns are the quiet dreamers with a firepit of passion hidden within their immalleable shells. Yep.
There is method to my madness. I'd like to be more of a rogue-hippie-gypsy-bohemian. Life is short, ya know? We'll just figure it out as we go along. There are three things I know to be 100% true: I am not perfect, I am sometimes wrong and one day I will die. With every battle there is a protest song, with every wall there is a wrecking ball, and with every youthful heart there is an uneasy rhythm that has to be expressed.
Overall, I am just Jill. Somebody has to be. cloverideas@hotmail.com Jill@nashvillerock.net http://www.myspace.com/jillio

JB / JB's Feminie Hyjinx
Growing up, I was exposed to many different genres of music. That gave the opportunity to appreciate any and all music; while at the same time, choosing my fave and establishing my own identity. I first grasp the punk movement and ran with the anarchy fueled hostility. Next, I tried to find the beat with the girl group thing. Then I discovered metal…ahhhh…metal, my passion, thick heavy riffs, pounding double bass, and mass quantities of drop d. I need it like chocolate!
It took me a little later in life to realize where my path lies; and I may approach more crossroads, but I honestly feel I have found my calling. I’ll let you, the readers, decide that…I welcome all feedback! Now, turn down the lights and let the show begin…and don’t forget…support your local music scene!!!
