ToolsForMySpace.comWasted Time, that is how one could describe the past year for 4Gotten. That is why the bands newest EP has been given the same name. This four piece band from Columbia, Tennessee has gone from starting out in Nashville and recording a full length album to losing both their vocalist and their bassist. Guitarist Chris Haywood and drummer Dathon Conner had all but given up on their chances of making music as a group ever again. Fortunately, after months of down time, they stumbled across bassist Shain Weatherford and began to play music again. They band began writing material and found a vocalist in Dathons brother, Kenny Conner. Kenny had recently been dropped from his previous band (Secured) and was happy to join 4Gotten. Now with their line-up set in stone, the band is renewed and focused on playing and promoting their music like never before. The 4Gottens style focuses greatly on the lyrics and vocal abilities of vocalist Kenny Conner; offering more passionate and deeply driven vocals. Along with these vocals, are the in your face, choppy, and sometimes melancholy music provided by Chris, Shain, and Dathon. Many of 4gottens fans have described the bands sound as 3 Doors Down with a hint of Mudvayne. Now, with a new approach to their music, 4Gotten tries to bring substance and intangible value back to the rock world and to stray from the Emo and Hardcore styles that have taken over radio today.
