3 Minutes to Live was formed in April of 2004 with undying desire to create something new and heavy yet tasteful and appealing to many genre's. Although heavy and generally referred to as metal, the boys in the band thrive to write songs with hooks and catch lines that would be found mostly on commercial main stream radio. All seasoned players, 3 Minutes To Live is guaranteed to stir up some commotion in Nashville as well as any other town they set their feet down in. Here's an introduction to the boys in the band: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian - Vocals Brian was born in Toledo Ohio and discovered his love of Rock and Roll at an early age. Starting on the drums in his teens, Brian uncovered a natural talent for music while perfecting his skills. Playing the drums for over a decade, Brian made a new discovery; he had knack for writing and expressing lyrics with an attitude and sense of urgency. Being discovered by now members of 3 Minutes to Live while playing drums and singing back up in another band, Brian was asked to complete the circle that is 3 Minutes to Live. Although a new and uncharted territory for Brian, singing became much like breathing in that it came as natural as playing the drums to him. He quickly secured his place in the band with songs like Pimps Up and Drop This. The band was finally solvent and ready to prepare for the world and did so with the urgency and attitude portrayed in its lyrics and music. Brian uses Sure wireless microphones and sports the attitude and aggression that is now known as 3 Minutes to Live. His influences range    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chris - Guitar Chris was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi and lived in several different areas around the United States as a child. At age ten he discovered the desire to play guitar and sought direction from family and friends. Chris soon uncovered a natural talent for the instrument. Starting his first band at fourteen he quickly saw how music would become a major part of his life from then on. Arriving in Nashville at fifteen with his father, also a musician, Chris started searching for players that would not only compliment his playing style, but make him a better player as well. Over a decade passed and several projects left behind, he found what he had been looking for in 3 Minutes to Live. Two members, Rickey (Bass) and Roger (Drums), were long time friends and fellow musicians who had been in other projects along side of Chris for most of that decade past. Adding Brian (Vocals) and Marlon (Guitars) completed the mixture and set the course on which Chris would follow to success. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rickey - Bass Rickey was born and raised in and around Nashville Tennessee. He started his quest for rock and roll at the early age of 14 and never looked back He has always loved music and has been in several bands in the Nashville area. Fellow musicians Chris and Roger now helping to hold 3 Minutes To Live's hard hitting sound together, were two of Rickey's co-founders in two other bands in Nashville. Hard work and commitment has always been the main dish on Rickey's plate and nothing has changed with this new project. Rickey plays Jackson basses through ampeg bass cabinets and amps. Don't miss Rickey's trademark flying style on stage as he and brothers in 3 Minutes To Live work feaverishly to turn on the crowd!   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger - Skins Roger was born and raised in Kingston Springs Tennessee to parents Wayne and Brenda; who have been instrumental in supporting his dreams of a career in the music business. Those dreams, staring at the early age of seven, included being the drummer in a project destined to be the next best thing. Drums started as a hobby for Roger but quickly developed into a natural talent that would become more and more refined as the years passed. The search for fellow musicians with the same ideals and dreams as Roger would prove to be a daunting task, but fulfilled when he joined forces with 3 Minutes to Live. The choice he has made to pursue this dream will never end because he has found the ultimate high in being the drummer for 3 Minutes to Live.
