Four score and 20 beers ago (was it 20? 200? who's counting?), j.c. managed to bug the crap out of Adam to start a band. They shared a common interest in eighth notes (who doesn't love 8ths?), the Cure, Interpol, U2, and other bands that kick ass. j.c. also managed to recruit Matt, Ben and persuaded them to join the mess. (er, i mean, fun...) They're a group of guys that work in the music industry (recording engineers, wanna hire us? oh yeah!) from Nashville (mostly) and Murfreesboro (me). Their paths intertwined in Middle Tennessee (why yes we're from the Murfreesboro/Nashville area, and no, we're NOT screamo, hardcore, or a jam band...), specifically through the Sound Kitchen, a recording studio in Franklin.

Take 4 friends, j.c. from California, Adam from Louisville, Matt from Indiana, Ben from St. Louis. Add musical backgrounds from Berklee College of Music (Adam & j.c.), SAE (Matt) & MTSU (Ben ). Mix (get it? uh, nevermind...) up their paths to cross at the Sound Kitchen. How does Iowa fit into all this? The wonderful Megan on vocals, of course! we present you with: slow dither.
