  • The power of rock music is found exclusively in the song. Songs with catchy riffs, powerful vocals, thought-provoking lyrics, and thundering rhythm sections are the heart and soul of what rock is meant to be. Simpleside brings all that and more to the table when they craft their songs. As firm believers in the power of the song, Adam Bryant (vocals), Jeremy Trott (lead guitar), Jonathan Ledlow (guitar, vocals), Tyler Shoemaker (drums) and Brett Donegan (bass) make every attempt to make song writing a moving experience.
               Founded in the summer of 2001, Simpleside was merely a high school garage band. But as each member grew, the band found ways to make music that touched people on a personal level. After playing several shows in their hometown, they decided to unleash their music to a larger audience. Simpleside took its music to Nashville, one of the greatest song-writing cities in the world. They joined the local underground rock scene that is bubbling with energy, and became a welcome addition. Playing shows at some of Nashville’s finest clubs, such as the Exit/In and Blue Sky Court, the power of Simpleside’s music continues to reach more people daily.
               Each band member’s contribution to a song compliments the product as a whole, leaving no gaps in the song’s power. The songs grab you from the opening chord, take you for a ride, and leave you wanting more. Every song is a new experience, and even upon a second or third listen, it’s like you are hearing it for the very first time. Coupled with powerful performances, and down-to-earth attitudes, Simpleside stands to make its mark on all its listeners. “If you don’t have good songs, you’ve got nothing,” says Bryant. If that is the case, Simpleside has it all.
