SPENCER - VOCALS, GUITAR

Beginning his career in 2001, Spencer Ezell’s destiny has always been laid out for him, since he picked up a guitar at the age of 13. His melodic songwriting and powerful voice have awed and enlightened peers and audiences everywhere. He fronted for the Hard Rock band Cold Shoulder from 2001 – 2003, increasing the popularity of his stage performance and music, and gaining him even greater name recognition. His songs “Like Me”, “After The Breakdown”, “Shelter” and “Once Again” have all received airplay on local radio stations, alongside Cold Shoulder songs and live on-air interviews with members of the band. In 2004, Spencer successfully signed an album deal with Fierce Recordings in Nashville, then going on to perform at the World famous Bluebird Café and became one of six finalist out of three thousand people at a Fashion Rock competetion in Orlando Florida which soon after was televised on the Fuse network and featured on a DVD. In Late 2005, he became the lead singer/guitarist of the band now known as Generation Down and has found a new home in Nashville,TN.

GARY - DRUMS, PERCUSSION

Gary has been playing drums off and on now for about 15 years. After a Christmas choice between drums or a motorcycle, I guess we know which one he picked. Always into music, he found himself following in his father's footsteps. Gary's father was the drummer for the Nashville band "The Extremely Rare". Music has always been a part of his father's side of the family. Country, bluegrass and good ole front porch picking, but Gary followed after his father and chose Rock & Roll as his calling. His father sat him behind the kit, showed him a beat and said there you go, now play. He learned from the classics like The Animals, The Rascals, The Beatles, Kansas, the Eagles and progressed into Kiss, Scorpions, Ozzy, Tesla, etc. His first band was a slow death metal band called Arson. Later, he hooked up with some friends from school and formed the band Backstreet Romeo. In the early 90's he put the drums aside and tried to live life as normal as possible, but a few years ago the drums came out of storage and his new band Full Tilt Auto came to life. Gary credits his love of music to his parents who bought him his first KISS album and took him to his first KISS concert at the age of 7. Gary says "It's not about if you play, how good you are or just like to listen. It's about the love for good music."

TOMMY - GUITAR, BACKING VOCALS

Tommy first wanted to play guitar after seeing Van Halen's Panama video and watching Eddie have so much fun with it. He got his first guitar for Christmas at the age of 16. After 5 lessons, he had learne dthe basics and began teaching himself by picking up licks here and there but never getting very serious. After being introduced to Motley Crue, Tommy went through a number of musical positions from lead vocals to drums. After a decade and a dozen band names, he ended up back with his first love, the guitar. With numerous influences and only 2 years of solid experience, he has reunited with old friends and a new vocalist that rocks. Tommy loves the live stage and hopes you love the music.

SCOTT - BASS, BACKING VOCALS

Scott began his musical career at an early age on the violin. After holding a first chair ranking for several years, he became bored and tried the viola then the bass. In the meantime, he was learning all his favorite songs on a piece of shit white flying V. In high school he hooked up with some friends and formed the band Angel City Toy Store. They weren't very successful, but they managed to lay the groundwork for a promissing future. After school and a brief stint with the band Shotgun Romeo, he worked with his old friends Tommy and Gary in the band Backstreet Romeo. Eventually the band split up and it was time to live the normal life. After a few years and some minor studio work for R&B singer Jay Kyle, Scott joined the gospel group Pure Grace. The steady gigs and travel were fun for a while, but not his cup of tea. It was time to hook up with the boys once again. With the formation of the rock trio Full Tilt Auto, Scott found himself in unfamiliar territory by accepting the responsibilities for both lead vocal and bass duties. The band played the clubs of Nashville, made great friends and solid connections, but realized something was missing. Enter Spencer Ezell and the formation of Generation Down. "This band has the potential to be something special. The talent, desire, and showmanship are there. All we need is a chance to show everyone what we can do."
