DOMENICA

Domenica was formed in the summer of 2004. The band clicked instantly and played their first show a month after meeting.

A new band in the Winnipeg scene, Domenica had a hard time boking gigs at first so they entered battle of the bands contests across the city. Winning them all, Domenica graduated from an entry level development project into an established local act.

Domenica started playing larger shows and after only one year had played at a major summer festival and were also invited to open for numerous touring acts, playing sold out venues.

The four members of Domenica have extremely different but intense passions for music including punk, hard rock, goth metal, funk, blues and jazz. The songs are written and arranged with such a natural feel it's hard not to enjoy them even if their sound is not your style.

Domenica, fronted by an intense and passionate female vocalist, truly captivate their audience as they perform. They are into their music and truly believe in upholding the integrity of their material. They are a band that's growing. They are also a band that has pulled ahead.
