August Ending is a five piece rock band out of the Nashville, TN area. With many different musical influences the band collaborates together to make a diverse range of rock music. The band is in their early twenties with the desire and determination to make a name for them selves in the music business. Recently, the band record with well-know producer Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., 10 Years, Pillar, Disciple, Spoken, and others) in Knoxville, TN. There the band recorded œTaken Away and another track that has yet to be named. August Ending is working hard to create a following in Nashville, and also to branch out to other area of the nation. With Jimmy Cooke pouring his heart out over very personal and emotional aspects of life and Brett Davis and Greg Whitley laying the guitar riffs down to complement the raw and emotional vocals. Steven Davenport keeps the emotion alive with energetic drum beats and fills. Shane Corley fills the gap with precision bass lines to make August Ending an all"around passionate band.
