DAY 1:  THURSDAY FEBRUARY 8TH

So we'll just count February 8th as our first day on the official studio diary.  Wednesday was just a day of driving and listening to ipods, and buying hats that say "Hustler" with dollar signs and dice all over them.  And junk food...lots of it.  And more driving...

February 8th.  So we wake our little Tennessee asses up Thursday morning to the greeting of 70 degree weather.  God, I love Florida.  We head on over to the house of our manager and record label executive, Jeff Hanson.  Many people may know Jeff from the amazing band Creed (cough, cough, sarcasm, cough), Sevendust, Paramore, and others.  Well, we get to the dudes house and its fucking awards and shit EVERYWHERE.  The dude SERIOUSLY used a billboard music award for a hammer at one time during our visit to the office.  INSANE.  Nothing too exciting came of the meeting.  Basically we were giving some information on our target release date for the record (which is April 10th), told more information of the shooting of our video thats coming up Tuesday (which is a very unique, weird concept that I'll explain in Tuesday's entry I'm sure), and talked about a record name and artwork.  Not too eventful of a day.  There's talk of a possible tour that I'm very excited about right now, but not at liberty to discuss yet, because there's a very large chance it'll fall through.  After a couple more hours of the meeting, we just hung around playing Nintendo Wii (that shit is a workout) and air hockey.  Then we headed back to the glorious hotel.
